Light: Native to the jungles of Peru, the Fittonia is found under the canopy of other plants and used to having dappled light, so keep your Fittonia out of direct sunshine and place in a shady spot. Too much sunlight can bleach the leaves and fade their bright pink veins.

Water: This by plant will appreciate regular watering. You will know when your Fittonia has dried out as it will become limp and floppy. This does not mean they are dead, they are very dramatic. Miraculously within an hour of watering you will see them begin to stand upright again.
