With it’s glossy foliage and beautiful shape, the Fiddle Leaf Fig has become a popular plant for those seeking larger specimen for their collection. You will not use some are short and bushy and other are standing tall with more of a tree-like form. The only difference is that the younger plants tend to have leaves all the way down their stems, whereas the older trees have been pruned and trained over many years so that the leaves will only grow at the top of the woody trunk, creating distinctive shape.
Light: Whatever the age or style of your Fiddle Leaf Fig it will enjoy being placed in bright, indirect sunlight. It is quite hardy so should be able to adapt to most locations as long as it does not come into direct sunlight.
Water: Water generously throughout the summer months, as your Fiddle Leaf Fig will quickly take up any water left in the soil, but do not over water as this can cause rapid leaf drop. Dry air around the plant can also cause leaf loss so mist every week or so as well.
